Realistic AI girlfriend characters

What a realistic AI girlfriend looks like on Swipey

Realistic means photoreal rendering of one consistent character. Swipey's own line for it is "same face, same body, every render", and that is the part worth paying attention to. Plenty of apps can produce a pretty picture. Fewer can produce the same woman twice.

On Swipey the woman in your chat is the woman in the selfie, and she is the woman in the 60-second video. Her face, her eyes and the small details you notice after a week of chatting carry from text to image to video. Swipey describes the output as photoreal images with natural lighting and expressions, and that matches what we see when we scroll the feed.

The style is a rendering choice, and personality is set separately. A realistic character can be flirty, shy, dominant, intellectual or nurturing, or a mix of those, because Create AI treats the look and the character as two different dials. The same goes for heritage: the Asian, Korean and Japanese AI girlfriend page shows how the realistic style works with the Asian and Korean shelves and with a character you build yourself.

How to get a realistic companion

There are two routes, and both are free to start.

• Browse. The feed and the models gallery list realistic Platform Models, and the realistic type page on swipey.ai collects them on one shelf. Basic chat with Platform Models is free; relationship progression with them needs Premium.
• Create. Open Create AI, choose the realistic style at the first step, then set body type, hair, eyes, skin tone and outfit. Pick a personality mix and a voice, add a location and a scenario, and she is ready. Swipey's promise is under two minutes, and it holds if you do not dither over the hair.

Since 20 August 2026 the builder also includes a kink selection step with tiered progression, and the location and scenario steps joined the Create AI summary during late August. Anything you set can be changed later in Edit My AI, which gained custom scenarios on 27 August 2026. If you want a walkthrough of every builder option, that is the job of MySwipey; this site shows what the results look like.

What is free and what is Premium

Premium is billed monthly and you can cancel anytime from Settings, under Subscription. Extra image and video generations beyond what the plan covers are paid in hearts, the reward currency you earn through quests, the 7-day streak and the daily spin. Premium members also receive free hearts automatically every day.

Progression is where a realistic character pays off over time. The relationship runs through ten levels, and the early ones are named Stranger, Acquaintance, Chat-buddy, Friend and Best friend. Each level-up opens new sides of her personality and a reward drop, and because her look never drifts, the woman at level ten is recognisably the one from the first chat. Persistent memory does the same job for the conversation: Memory cards and the Memory Details view, shipped 27 August 2026, keep inside jokes and details intact across days and weeks.

Selfies and video in the realistic style

Ask for a photo in chat and she sends one that fits the conversation: the balcony you were just talking about, the outfit she mentioned, the mood of the moment. The image keeps her face and body. That is the whole appeal of character-consistent selfies, and it is what turns a folder of renders into an album of one person.

Video works the same way. On-demand video scenes run up to 60 seconds, realistic or anime, and stay consistent with her images. Photo-to-video animates a still she already sent, with a duration you choose, and a scene can be extended from chat when you want more of it. Both options shipped on 20 August 2026. Level-ups deliver video as well: each new relationship level opens a reward drop with three cards (Teasing, Intimate and Full Show), and the video lands in your Gallery.

Since 1 September 2026 you can also edit any image in chat. Tap the pencil, describe the change in plain words, and the edited image keeps her consistent. Golden-hour light instead of noon, a red dress instead of the black one, the same face throughout. Inline image editing has its own page.

Voice belongs here too. Premium members can call a realistic character in real time or trade voice messages in chat, and after a call a Memory card appears in the thread with the duration, levelling progress, thumbnails and a transcript. There is no live camera call; video on Swipey means generated scenes.

Realistic or anime?

Both styles share every feature: memory, voice, images, video, scenarios, levels. The decision is aesthetic. Pick realistic if you want presence and selfies that read as photographs. Pick anime if you want expressive, stylised visuals. You can create more than one character, so nothing stops you running both. The realistic vs anime decision guide lays the differences side by side.
